Hello, my name is Kate Julia, and I am the CEO and Founder of Hammerhead Lingerie, SPC.

I nursed my daughter for 2.5 years, went through a nasty divorce, and lost my confidence. In my quest to re-build my self esteem, I tried to buy lingerie, but the companies made me feel like I had to pay for a $40k boob job just to feel worthy. Ironically enough, over 70% of lingerie companies are owned by men, and that didn’t sit well with me.

So here we are today, through the hard work of an amazing network of men and women who believed in this vision. We are creating an environmentally friendly, sustainable, and inclusive brand community that empowers women and non-binary individuals to reach their full potential by helping them embrace who they are, feel sexy, and say no to unrealistic body standards. 

Women are over sexualized and under valued. We need to join forces and redefine the word “lingerie.”
